LONDON, UK: Oxford Metrics plc (LSE: OMG), the smart sensing software company, servicing life sciences, entertainment and engineering markets, has announced a change in its leadership as Nick Bolton, the current CEO, prepares to take over as the head of Ordnance Survey, the UK’s national mapping agency.
Imogen Moorhouse, who has been the CEO of the Group’s Vicon division since 2012, will succeed Bolton as the CEO of Oxford Metrics plc from 1 October 2023. Moorhouse has been with the company for 22 years and has been instrumental in growing Vicon’s business both organically and through acquisition to over 170 people today.
The Board said it was delighted to welcome Moorhouse to her new role and praised Bolton for his 18 years of service and contribution to the Group’s growth and development. Bolton said he was honoured to have led Oxford Metrics and expressed his confidence and support for Moorhouse as his successor. Moorhouse said she was excited to lead the Group forward and continue to execute against its five-year plan for growth.
Oxford Metrics is a leading provider of smart sensing and analysis software that enables customers to measure, understand and improve the performance of people, products and processes. The Group operates in three market segments: life sciences, entertainment and engineering. Its products include Vicon, a motion capture technology for animation, gaming and virtual reality; IMeasureU, a wearable sensor platform for sports and health; and Forensic Engineering Services, a consultancy service for accident reconstruction and product liability.
