SYDNEY: Scalare Partners, a leading technology accelerator, announced on March 12, 2025, the acquisition of Inhouse Ventures, a fast-growing platform for scalable technology startups. The deal is expected to enhance Scalare’s service offerings and contribute positively to its financial performance.

Inhouse Ventures, founded by Elliot Spiegel in June 2022, has quickly become one of Australia’s premier platforms for technology founders, providing tailored solutions for fundraising, scaling, and business development.

Scalare initially invested in Inhouse Ventures in November 2023, acquiring a 20.7% stake. With this acquisition, Scalare will own 100% of Inhouse Ventures, integrating its offerings into the Scalare ecosystem.

The acquisition is structured with minimal upfront cash outlay, funded through the issue of $1,066,646 of escrowed ordinary shares in Scalare Partners and an upfront cash payment of $233,331. Additionally, deferred consideration of $433,331 is payable to Spiegel upon achieving revenue targets through June 30, 2027.

“This acquisition represents an exciting step forward for Scalare,” said Carolyn Breeze, CEO of Scalare Partners. “Inhouse Ventures has built an impressive platform that aligns perfectly with our mission of supporting technology founders at every stage of their journey.”

Elliot Spiegel, CEO and founder of Inhouse Ventures, will remain in his role and lead future growth initiatives. “Joining forces with Scalare Partners is a natural evolution for Inhouse Ventures,” Spiegel said. “Our platform and services complement Scalare’s mission, and together we will be able to offer even greater support to founders looking to scale their businesses.”

The acquisition is expected to be completed within five days, subject to customary conditions. Scalare will provide further updates as the integration progresses.

Inhouse Ventures has shown strong growth under Spiegel’s leadership, generating its first revenue in late 2022 and achieving an annualized revenue profile of $212,544 based on the half-year ended December 31, 2024. The company reported a modest profit before tax of $10,886 for the same period and had cash reserves of $83,095 with no debt.

This acquisition marks Scalare’s third strategic move, following the acquisitions of the Australian Technologies Competition in April 2023 and Tech Ready Women in April 2024. Scalare plans to continue exploring acquisition opportunities to enhance its ecosystem of products and services for early-stage technology businesses.

Scalare Partners, listed on the ASX under the ticker SCP, focuses on empowering technology founders to transform their ideas into successful businesses. The company is deeply involved in the broader technology ecosystem, supporting initiatives such as Tech Ready Women, the Australian Technologies Competition, and its “Be the Change” program, which partners with government and corporates to promote promising technology businesses and founders.
