Global executive talent platform, True, has acquired Paradigm Search

True, the only tech and data-first global executive talent platform, announced today their acquisition of Paradigm Search, known for their ability to place elite engineering and product leaders.

Founder and CEO Matt Johnson and the Paradigm team will join True’s Product, Data & Technology (PDT) practice.

“Matt and the Paradigm team have an excellent and well-deserved reputation in the executive search market,” said Brad Stadler, President of True Search and co-CEO of True Platform.

“From our first conversation, this felt like such a natural fit. They are exceptional search professionals who will enhance our culture and our ability to deliver value to clients. We are truly fortunate the Paradigm team is joining us.”

Johnson started Paradigm in 2021 after more than a decade at Daversa, where he placed c-suite engineering and product roles for industry-leading clients such as Slack, Snowflake, and Snapchat. Paradigm was his endeavor to bring the same expert level of client care in a more innovative, personalized approach for tech founders.

“True’s search experts and unrivaled suite of products and services will help us continue our work as trusted partners to our clients,” Johnson said. “Joining forces means expanding our offerings globally, beyond placing executives to helping clients think about leadership teams more holistically, including training and retention.”

Paradigm clients like Redpanda and Zapier commend Johnson’s philosophy of truly engaging in their searches by understanding client needs, values and long term goals for building their leadership teams—a process well-aligned with True’s data-backed, expert-driven approach.

“The Paradigm team’s excellent network of PDT leaders adds to True’s proven ability to match the right executive to the right role for transformative results,” said Ariele Fleming, Partner and co-Head of the Product, Data & Technology practice. “We’re thrilled to welcome them to the team.”
