SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Lincoln Minerals Limited (ASX: LML), a mining company focused on developing the Kookaburra Graphite project in South Australia, has announced the appointment of Mr Jonathon Trewartha as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective November 3, 2023.
Mr Trewartha has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry, covering various commodities and roles in exploration, study, approvals, projects and technical operations. He has also co-founded and managed a copper mining project in South Australia and played a key role in Terramin Australia’s growth. He holds a WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate and has worked both in Australia and overseas.
In his previous role as Senior Study Manager at Worley, Mr Trewartha demonstrated his capabilities in overseeing feasibility studies and preparing multidisciplinary proposals.
Mr Trewartha said he was excited to join Lincoln Minerals and lead the development of the Kookaburra Graphite project, which aims to become one of the first and best graphite producers in Australia and the world.
Yoyo Zhang, Board Chair of Lincoln Minerals, said Mr Trewartha’s extensive experience, innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, and in-depth knowledge in health, safety, environmental and community aspects would drive Lincoln Minerals towards achieving its strategic goals and enhancing its position in the mining industry.
