The OnePlus Pad, the first tablet from the Chinese smartphone maker, is now available for purchase in the US for $479. The tablet was announced in February and went on pre-order in April, but OnePlus did not reveal the price until two weeks ago.
The OnePlus Pad is a mid-range Android tablet that features an 11.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 7:5 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision support. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, which is designed for flagship devices, and comes with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The tablet also has a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, four speakers with Omnibearing Sound Field technology, and a 9510mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
One of the unique features of the OnePlus Pad is the Cellular Data Sharing option, which allows users to share their 5G mobile data with their phone under the same secure account. The tablet also supports OTP chats and Cross-screen Transmission for seamless communication and data transfer.
OnePlus is offering some incentives for customers who buy the OnePlus Pad. First, every purchase comes with a free Folio case, which normally costs $49.99. Second, OnePlus has a trade-in program that lets users exchange their old phones or tablets for a discount on the new tablet. Additionally, OnePlus is giving an extra $50 credit for trade-ins.
The OnePlus Pad is only available in Halo Green color and only supports Wi-Fi connectivity. It runs on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.1 on top. It is one of the few tablets that ships with the latest version of Android out of the box.
The OnePlus Pad can be ordered from the official OnePlus website or from Amazon. The delivery date is estimated to be May 17 for standard delivery and May 15 for priority delivery.
