LONDON, UK: The Supervisory Council has appointed Andrus Durejko as the new Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Management Board of Eesti Energia until 31 March 2026, effective as of 1 April 2023.
The decision was made by the Supervisory Counsel after having considered a variety of candidates. Durejko was deemed best suited to take the group forward in the next phase of development. Additional members of Management Board will be appointed in due course following a recommendation by Durejko.
Andrus Durejko has since 2018 served as the CEO of Ericsson Eesti AS. Before that, Durejko has worked in various positions at Ericsson, a provider of mobile communication solutions and equipment, including as a member of the board of Ericsson Eesti AS in the field of technology and as a Regional Director of Mobile Core Networks in Ericsson Ukraine. He has been a Member of the Board of Ericsson Eesti AS since 1999. Andrus Durejko has a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Estonian University of Life Sciences.
