DUBAI: BH Mubasher Financial Services PSC, one of the leading companies in the UAE financial market, has participated in the Young Economists Program, a news release said.
The program, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, is organized through the Federal Youth Authority in collaboration with the Dubai Financial Market, and aims to develop future leaders by educating them on the economy.
BH Mubasher was particularly selected by Dubai Financial Market to participate, in which it shared its knowledge and educated the participants through seminars presented by Mr. Ma’an Al Bostami, Chief Operating Officer at BH Mubasher, and Mr. Talal Touqan, Chief Investment Officer at BH Mubasher.
Ma’an Al Bostami discussed the importance of brokerage firms in his session, explaining that they are the key of trading in the financial markets. He spoke to participants about the different types of brokerage companies and the development of their services-including securities brokerage, electronic trading, financial consulting, financial analysis, investment management, market making and liquidity providing, margin trading, and other services.
The session held by Talal Touqan focused on the general framework for financial analysis of capital markets. The topics covered the foundations of technical analysis and its tools, and how to determine trends through recognized indicators and models.
Touqan also discussed the principles of basic fundamental financial analysis, and its importance when making investment decisions. He also explained the main differences between technical analysis and fundamental analysis, as well as how to benefit from both methods and maximize their returns. The Young Economists Program was launched to enable young people to learn about the variables of the economy and how to anticipate the future economy.
The young participants were educated on global economic trends and how to follow up their impact. The program strives to build and prepare future leaders, and to encourage the role of Emirati youths in the future economy.
