Melrose Industries plc (LSE: MRO) is a London-based company that specialises in buying and improving underperforming businesses. Its shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange as a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.

Melrose Industries was founded in 2003 by David Roper, Christopher Miller and Simon Peckham. In terms of business practices, the company aims to buy and turn around underperforming businesses.
