Last month Carluccio’s was subject to a buyout by the Boparan Restaurant Group and is now set to re-open in line with the current government guidelines.

LONDON: Toople PLC, a provider of bespoke telecom and IT services in the UK, announced that its recently acquired subsidiary company Direct Market Services Limited (DMSL) has won a major new contract with Carluccio’s, the leading hospitality and restaurant brand.

The contract is an additional win for DMSL, who already provide to several businesses across multiple disciplines within the Boparan Restaurant Group.  Over this period DMSL will provide secure data connections, local internet breakout and telephony to 30 restaurants, based all over the UK.

Commenting on the contract win, Andy Hollingworth, CEO of Toople said: “All our Group brands seek to differentiate themselves by offering IT, telecoms and broadband solutions, with robust and reliable packages, that enhance a customer’s business and are based on trust and transparency with clear pricing structures.  The difficulties caused by the outbreak of Covid-19 and the ensuing ‘lockdown’ means that small and medium sized businesses, particularly in the food retail, leisure and hospitality industries, will increasingly look for this type of reliable fixed price communication and connectivity.

“To win the contract to supply data and telephony services to such an iconic restaurant brand, now backed by one of the UK’s most respected businessmen, is evidence of how attractive our service offering has become.  More and more businesses are being forced to review their existing telecoms services and many are seeking new solutions which provide enhanced quality at an affordable price.  We are speaking to many businesses with bespoke solutions suitable to the individual and the new business pipeline remains strong.”
