Haus secures $17 million to build the future of growth intelligence

Haus, a startup that offers a platform for brands to measure and optimize their marketing and business performance, has raised $17 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners, a global software investor.

The round also included existing investors Baseline Ventures, Haystack Ventures, Upside Partnership, Octave Ventures and Mantis Venture Capital.

Haus, which was founded in 2021 by former Google executive Zach Epstein, provides a growth command center that combines causal inference with experimentation and AI. The platform enables brands to conduct on-demand experiments using only their first-party data, without relying on cookies or third-party identifiers. The experiments help brands to uncover how their marketing activities impact their top and bottom line, and to test different strategies and scenarios.

Haus claims that its platform is the first of its kind to use causal inference, a branch of statistics that studies the effects of interventions on outcomes. Causal inference allows brands to measure the causal impact of their actions, rather than just observing correlations or associations. Haus says that this approach is more accurate, transparent and privacy-durable than traditional methods.

Haus plans to use the new capital to expand its team and to build a suite of integrated causal analytical tools for various business applications. The company says that its platform can be used for demand forecasting, pricing optimization, customer segmentation, product development and more.

Haus has already attracted some data-driven brands as customers, such as FanDuel, Sonos, Caraway Home, Jasper, Jones Road Beauty and Ritual. These brands use Haus’s initial products, GeoLift and CustomerLift, which are designed to measure the geographic and customer-level effects of marketing campaigns.

Zach Epstein, founder and CEO of Haus, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Insight Partners and our existing investors to accelerate our vision of building the future of growth intelligence. We believe that causal inference is the key to unlocking the next wave of growth for brands, and we are excited to bring our platform to more customers and industries.”
