Abu Dhabi, UAE: Emirates Stallions Group (ADX: ESG) and Q Holding, two prominent companies in Abu Dhabi, have announced the establishment of a joint venture called “Century Village.” This partnership aims to develop and manage a state-of-the-art staff accommodation project on Al Reem Island, with a total investment of AED 320 million.
The project’s vision is to create a cutting-edge co-living community that addresses the diverse housing needs of employees in various industries such as healthcare, transportation, and hospitality. The collaboration between Emirates Stallions Group and Q Holding demonstrates their commitment to providing exceptional and holistic housing solutions for the workforce.
Kayed Khorma, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Stallions Group, stated, “This transformative project showcases our unwavering commitment to revolutionizing workforce housing and providing exceptional living solutions for employees in diverse industries in the capital. With the creation of this joint venture, we aim to meet the diverse housing needs of professionals in different sectors.”
GBH International Contracting has been appointed as the main contractor for the construction of the Reem Hills Staff Accommodation project, while Royal Development Company (RDC) serves as the development management company. RDC has spent the past year meticulously conducting feasibility studies, design development, construction planning, and streamlined procurement procedures to ensure the project’s success.
Majed Odeh, Group CEO of Q Holding, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch of Century Village, stating, “This groundbreaking joint venture will foster collaboration, convenience, and well-being, offering a dynamic and inclusive living environment.”
Situated in Al Reem Island, the Reem Hills Staff Accommodation project has been thoughtfully designed to provide residents with a vibrant community lifestyle. It will offer a diverse range of shared amenities and spaces, aiming to cultivate a strong sense of community and provide exceptional living experiences for its residents.
“This marks a significant milestone in ESG’s journey to redefine employee housing standards and create sustainable, holistic communities,” added Khorma.
Upon completion, the project will cater to approximately 5,000 staff members, offering a convenient and environmentally friendly living environment. With comprehensive community facilities and an all-inclusive community experience, the Reem Hills Staff Accommodation project sets a new standard for quality, location, and employee well-being in Abu Dhabi.
