Eiffage entered negotiations to acquire 70% of Snef Telecom capital

PARIS, FRANCE: Eiffage, through its subsidiary Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, has signed an agreement to acquire 70% of Snef Telecom.

Snef Telecom – a subsidiary of Snef and a leading player in the French mobile telecoms market – generated almost €200 million in revenue in 2021 and employs around 1,000 people nationwide.

The acquisition will allow Eiffage Énergie Systèmes to break into the mobile telecoms market, which is growing rapidly with the rise of 5G, and enhance its services and expertise for the benefit of industry and tertiary sector stakeholders alike.

Subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals, the acquisition is expected to close in the second half of 2022.

Eiffage, a European leader in building, civil engineering and concessions, operates in construction, property, development, civil engineering, metal, roads, energy systems and concessions. Building on the experience of 73,500 employees, the Group generated revenue of €18.7 billion in 2021, of which 27% outside France.

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes designs, builds, operates and maintains systems and facilities in electrical, industrial and energy engineering and HVAC which respect people and the environment. Eiffage Énergie Systèmes provides a customised offer for the industrial, infrastructure and network markets, local authorities and the tertiary sector. Eiffage Énergie Systèmes reported revenue of €4.8 billion in 2021.
