COPENHAGEN: Topdanmark’s CFO Lars Thykier has decided to retire, and he will be replaced by Lars Kufall Beck.
Lars Kufall Beck is 46 years old, and he comes from the position as CFO of Saxo Bank where he has been globally responsible for finance, procurement and treasury since 2019.
Prior to joining Saxo Bank, he has held of number of managerial positions in ISS, including both national and regional CFO for the Nordic countries and Central Europe. In addition to ISS, Lars Kufall Beck has i.a. provided advice for insurance companies as consultant with Deloitte. Lars Kufall Beck holds a degree in Actuarial Mathematics (M.Sc.) and a diploma degree in finance.
Lars Thykier has been employed with Topdanmark since 1986 and following many years as director of Topdanmark Asset Management, he was appointed CFO and member of the Executive Board in 2009.
Lars Kufall Beck takes up the position as CFO no later than 1 September 2021. Lars Thykier continues as CFO until then, and for a transitional period hereafter, he will hand over to Lars Kufall Beck.
Topdanmark is one of the country’s largest insurance and pension companies.
