LONDON: Maintel Holdings Plc, a leading provider of cloud, network and security managed communications services, announced the appointment of Dan Davies as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

Dan assumed the role of Interim CEO of the Company in February 2024, having previously been Chief Technology Officer and an Executive Director since 2020. He has held senior positions at Maintel since 2014.

The Company has been on a journey to pivot from a generalist to a highly skilled specialist across three high-growth technology segments; Unified Communications & Collaboration, Customer Experience and Security & Connectivity. This refocused strategy was underpinned by the relaunch of the Maintel brand in November 2024, which successfully framed the strategy for the Company’s people, customers and prospects.

The Company continues its search for a new Independent Non-Executive Chairman to support the Executive team and will provide an update in due course.

Clare Bates, Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Nomination Committee, said: “Dan has been instrumental in the ongoing transformation of the Company and his shared values and deep knowledge of the business and its broader markets, position him strongly to drive Maintel forward on its long-term growth strategy and to take on the many opportunities available to the Company in its journey as a leading managed services provider.”

Dan Davies, CEO at Maintel, said, “I am delighted to be appointed CEO of the Company.  It is an exciting time for Maintel and over the past year we have made good progress in transforming both our market positioning and our offering which, I believe, puts us in an even stronger position to support our customers to service their managed service needs.”
