Smarttech247 secures £7 million cybersecurity contract with major London airport

LONDON: Smarttech247, a multi-award-winning provider of AI-enhanced cybersecurity services, has been appointed to a multi-year cybersecurity framework agreement with a major international airport in London, the company announced Monday.
The agreement, which spans five years with a potential one-year extension, has a total estimated value of up to £7 million across all four suppliers involved. While no minimum spend is guaranteed, the deal positions Smarttech247 as a trusted cybersecurity provider for one of the U.K.’s most high-profile transport hubs.
Under the framework, the Dublin-based firm will be eligible to deliver a range of services, including 24/7 threat monitoring, firewall maintenance, dark web surveillance and advanced email protection. Its AI-powered VisionX platform will also be available as part of the flexible procurement arrangement.
“We are delighted to have been selected for this prestigious framework,” said Raluca Saceanu, CEO of Smarttech247. The deal, she noted, reinforces the company’s expertise in protecting critical infrastructure and aligns with its strategy to expand long-term engagements in high-security sectors.
Smarttech247, listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (AIM: S247), specializes in automated threat detection and response for global clients. The airport contract marks its latest high-value partnership in regulated industries.
