Frontgrade Technologies acquires defense solutions division of Crescend Technologies

Frontgrade Technologies, a leader in high-reliability electronic solutions for space and national security missions, announced Wednesday its acquisition of IDSI, LLC, the Defense Solutions division of Crescend Technologies, LLC.

The move is set to enhance Frontgrade’s Radio Frequency (RF) amplifier capabilities for the aerospace and defense industries.

IDSI, based in York, Pennsylvania, specializes in the design, development, and production of solid state, high-power RF amplifiers and amplifier subsystems. These products, optimized for Size, Weight, Power, and Cost (SWaP-C) considerations, operate across HF to SHF frequency bands and support Department of Defense tactical missions, including electronic warfare, communications, and tactical data links.
