ABU DHABI: Masdar, the UAE’s leading clean energy company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Presight, a top-tier big data analytics firm powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI).
This collaboration aims to develop an advanced asset management tool for Masdar’s global renewable energy projects.
Masdar’s renewable energy installations, including solar panels, inverters, and wind turbines, generate billions of data points daily.
By leveraging Presight’s AI capabilities, this data will be meticulously analyzed to extract valuable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making.
The new AI-based tool will transition Masdar’s operations from a reactive to a predictive model, allowing the company to anticipate issues, enhance efficiency, address potential failures proactively, reduce downtime, and ultimately increase energy production.
In a related development, Presight has also expanded its strategic partnership with American video intelligence leader ISS. The two companies formalized their collaboration with a new commercial framework agreement, building on a memorandum of understanding signed at the GITEX trade show in Dubai in October 2023.
ISS will integrate Presight’s AI-driven data analytics solutions across its North and South American client base, which includes Smart City projects and Intelligent Transportation Solutions (ITS). Notable clients include major U.S. transportation authorities such as CalTrans and the MTA in New York. This partnership will see ISS deploying integrated solutions featuring Presight’s AI technologies as it seeks to grow its market presence throughout the Western Hemisphere.
