Juniper Landscaping has acquired two Florida-based landscaping giants, Rip’s Professional Lawn Care and Elegant Landscape & Design, marking its growth to 28 branches across Florida and Texas.
This expansion includes a significant contract with Tyndall Air Force Base, enhancing Juniper’s presence in the Florida panhandle and Palm Beach markets.
“After several years working through concept and construction plans, Juniper is excited to announce an agreement to be the landscape contractor for the Tyndall Air Force Base. This project will take approximately three years to complete and will provide a strong foundation for further growth in the panhandle,” said Dan deMont, Chief Revenue Officer of Juniper.
James “Rip” Thompson of Rip’s and Joe Morello of Elegant will continue their leadership roles, backed by Juniper’s corporate team. With its headquarters in Fort Myers, FL, Juniper stands as the largest commercial landscaping firm in the Southeast US, actively seeking further acquisitions with the support of Bregal Partners.
“Rip has an excellent reputation for providing premium service in the Panama City and neighboring markets,” said Brandon Duke, CEO of Juniper.
“This is a market that we are prioritizing for heavy investment given our recent selection as the lead landscape installation and maintenance provider for the nearby Tyndall Air Force Base, and so our new partnership with Rip’s could not have been better timed. Whether an HOA, institution, or government entity, Juniper is actively looking for new partnerships in Panama City and surrounding areas and we have the capacity to service a project of any size,” Mr. Duke added.
“Partnering with Elegant allows us to build upon and expand our strong current presence in the Palm Beach market,” said Mr. Duke. “Eric and Joe have done a remarkable job growing this business and we are excited to welcome their team to the Juniper family.”
