SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Atlas Arteria (ASX:ALX) has made public the impending retirement of its CEO and Managing Director, Graeme Bevans.
After a tenure marked by substantial strategic developments, Bevans will remain in his role until a successor is appointed, adhering to the 12-month notice period stipulated in his contract.
Under Bevans’ leadership since 2018, Atlas Arteria has seen a transformation in its operational culture and strategic direction. His efforts have been pivotal in restructuring key holdings, including the APRR and Warnow Tunnel, and the strategic acquisition of the Chicago Skyway.
These moves have not only diversified the company’s revenue streams but also extended its concession life, setting the stage for future growth opportunities.
The company has commenced a global search for Bevans’ replacement, who will inherit a robust strategy focused on business optimization, growth, and capital management. During this transition period, Bevans will continue to steer the company towards its strategic goals.
Debbie Goodin, Chair of Atlas Arteria Limited, expressed gratitude for Bevans’ contributions, which have significantly enhanced the company’s growth trajectory and shareholder value. Bevans himself reflected on his time at the helm with pride, acknowledging the collective achievements and the establishment of a solid foundation for Atlas Arteria’s future endeavors.
As the search for new leadership begins, Atlas Arteria stands poised to embrace the next chapter in its evolution, building on the strong legacy left by Bevans.
