Melbourne: Adacel Technologies Limited, a leading provider of Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulation and training solutions, has been awarded a significant contract by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Firm Fixed Price contract, with a potential five-year duration, is valued at an estimated USD$6.7 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, Adacel will supply ATC Tower Simulation System (TSS) Software along with Support Services to aid in the technical and operational training of Air Traffic Controllers at various FAA Air Traffic Control Towers.
Daniel Verret, CEO of Adacel, expressed enthusiasm for the FAA’s continued trust in their software and services, emphasizing the company’s commitment to enhancing the performance and reliability of their ATC simulation software. The contract also encompasses maintenance, updates to the TSS simulation engine, speech recognition software, and a transition to AeroScene, Adacel’s advanced image generator solution.
Adacel is poised to support the FAA’s efforts in recruiting and training Air Traffic C toontrollers, contributing to the efficiency of the National Airspace System’s terminal facilities.
