Released across multiple platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on February 20th, Balatro’s launch was met with high anticipation from both gaming enthusiasts and critics. In less than four weeks, the game not only surpassed the one million sales mark but also boasted an average playtime of over 18 hours among PC players.
The accolades don’t stop there. Balatro has been lauded with an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on the renowned gaming platform Steam, amassing upwards of 17,000 favorable critiques. Additionally, it has secured an impressive 90 rating on Metacritic, a trusted source for game reviews.
Looking ahead, Playstack has an ambitious lineup with five more game releases planned for 2024. Among these is the eagerly awaited survival crafting game Abiotic Factor, set for a May release.
