SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: LGI Limited, a leading waste management company, has announced a change in its top leadership as part of a planned succession.
Jarryd Doran, the former Chief Operating Officer, will take over as the new Chief Executive Officer from Friday, 1 March 2024. He will replace Dr Jessica North, who will step down as CEO but remain as Executive Director and Chief Sustainability Officer, an ASX announcement said.
Doran has been with LGI since April 2014 and has been instrumental in overseeing the company’s operations and projects. He has extensive experience and knowledge in the waste industry and will lead LGI’s growth and innovation strategy.
Dr North, who has been the CEO of LGI since 2017, will focus on LGI’s carbon strategy and sustainability initiatives in her new role. She will also continue to support Doran and the board in the transition period.
Adam Bloomer will continue as Managing Director of LGI and work closely with Doran and Dr North to deliver the company’s vision and goals.
LGI Limited is a publicly listed company on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) under the ticker ASX.LGI. It provides waste management solutions for various sectors and industries across Australia and New Zealand.
