OptConnect, a leading provider of managed wireless services, announced today that it has acquired M2M DataGlobal, one of the largest and most professional IoT organizations in Latin America.
The acquisition will enhance OptConnect’s ability to offer reliable and scalable wireless connectivity solutions to customers in various industries and regions across North and South America.
M2M DataGlobal, based in Santiago, Chile, has been a pioneer in the machine-to-machine/IoT industry for over 10 years, offering a full range of hardware products and connectivity solutions in countries such as Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico.
The company shares OptConnect’s customer-centric culture and passion for delivering unmatched customer service.

M2M DataGlobal will retain its name and operate as a business unit of OptConnect, with Elionae Silva as its General Manager. Felix Lluberes and Rob Adams, who have advised M2M previously, will continue to serve as advisors to the company.
