BearingPoint breaks €1 billion in revenue and expands globally

AMSTERDAM: BearingPoint, a management and technology consultancy, achieved a record revenue of €1.017 billion in 2023, an 18% increase from the previous year. The firm also grew its bookings by 21% and delivered more than 1,800 projects in 32 countries.

To support its growth, BearingPoint hired more than 900 people in 2023, bringing its total workforce to over 6,000. The firm plans to hire another 1,600 people in 2024 as it accelerates its strategy and global expansion.

“2023 was a breakout year for BearingPoint,” said Kiumars Hamidian, Managing Partner of BearingPoint. “We reached our €1 billion in revenue target, and we did it sustainably, with a healthy growth position. We continue to see increasing demand for our services, especially our transformation programs and IP-driven digital assets.”

BearingPoint also made five strategic acquisitions in 2023, strengthening its portfolio in areas such as sustainability, Salesforce, asset-backed securities, and IFS software and solutions. The firm expanded its presence in the US and China, achieving a revenue growth of 34% and 28% respectively.

BearingPoint invested heavily in innovation, artificial intelligence, and sustainability, launching a generative AI hub, publishing an ethical statement on AI, developing over 250 AI use cases, supporting clients on their sustainability and decarbonization journeys, and investing more than 1,000 consulting days in CSR activities.

BearingPoint also promoted people development, appointing 27 new Partners, promoting 1,398 people, delivering 260,000 training hours, and opening a new Be.Campus in Brussels.

BearingPoint is confident about its future and aims to continue delivering value to its clients and people in 2024.
