Chris Throckmorton appointed as new CEO of EyeCare Partners

EyeCare Partners (ECP), the nation’s leading provider of clinically integrated eye care, has announced that Chris Throckmorton will take over as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective Jan. 29, 2024. He will succeed Ben Breier, who served as Interim CEO and is the Head of U.S. Private Equity Health and Life at Partners Group.

Mr. Throckmorton is a health care leader with more than 30 years of experience in various roles, including President and CEO of Athletico Physical Therapy and Pivot Health. He is widely recognized for his strategic vision, operational acumen and commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Mr. Breier said that Mr. Throckmorton’s proven track record and dedication to patients and clinicians made him the ideal candidate to lead ECP into its next phase of growth and success. He also expressed his confidence in Mr. Throckmorton’s ability to enhance vision, advance eye care and improve lives.

Mr. Throckmorton said that joining ECP as CEO is an incredible opportunity to lead a talented team that is passionate about world-class eye care, continuous learning and innovation.
