Humana Inc., a leading health insurer and health care services company, announced today that it has appointed David Dintenfass as its new President of Enterprise Growth.
Dintenfass will lead the company’s growth plan with a focus on customer acquisition, retention, and experience, especially in the Medicare Advantage market, where Humana is the second largest provider in the U.S.
Dintenfass has a 30-year track record of delivering outstanding results across various businesses, including consumer-packaged goods, consumer banking, and wealth management. He joins Humana from Fidelity, where he was the Executive Vice President, Head of Products and Emerging Growth Markets. He will report to Jim Rechtin, Humana’s Chief Operating Officer and President, effective February 5, 2024.
Bruce Broussard, President and CEO of Humana, praised Dintenfass as a strategic leader who is customer obsessed, digitally savvy, and data driven. He said that Dintenfass will help Humana deliver on its long-term strategy and maximize long-term growth in the Medicare Advantage market, which is expected to grow significantly as one in five Americans will be 65 years old or older by 2030.
Under Dintenfass, the company will centralize its sales, marketing, and experience capabilities with a collective focus on customer acquisition and retention. This will help elevate the customer and broker experience, transform product offerings, and ensure a cohesive digital strategy.
Dintenfass will also partner with CenterWell, Humana’s integrated health subsidiary, to increase the penetration of health plan members using CenterWell’s primary care, home solutions, and pharmacy offerings.
