PARIS, FRANCE: Technip Energies, a leading Engineering & Technology company for the energy transition, has announced the appointment of three new members to its Executive Committee.
Naïla Giovanni has been named as the Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO), a newly created position that will accelerate the company’s digital transformation. Giovanni has over 25 years of experience in business transformation, both in consulting and industry sectors. She has worked for Oracle, Arthur Andersen (now BearingPoint), and Vallourec Group, where she led the digital and IT transformation program. She is based in Paris and holds a master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Sciences and Techniques, a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance, and an Executive Program from Yale School of Management.
Marco Villa has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer, a role that will provide commercial and project execution leadership across all businesses, in both traditional and new markets. Villa has a long and successful career in Technip, where he held various leadership positions, including as President Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa, Regional President and Chief Executive Officer, and Regional Chief Financial Officer. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Technip Energies and before that, the President Operations Onshore Offshore of TechnipFMC. He graduated from Sapienza University of Rome in Economics and Business and has a professional background in Finance. He also worked for Finmeccanica and Telespazio, two Italian companies specializing in aerospace, defense and security, and spaceflight services.
Loïc Chapuis has been named as the Chief Operating Officer, a position that will oversee operational excellence, talent development, and the evolution of the company’s operating model and ways of working. Chapuis has more than 15 years of experience with Technip Energies, where he was most recently the Senior Vice President for the Gas and Low Carbon Energies Business Line. He started his career as a McKinsey & Company consultant in Paris and then joined Technip Energies as a Strategy Group Analyst and a Sales Manager. He has also worked as a Project Control and Compliance Manager, a Deputy COO for Onshore Offshore Operations, and a Project Director for key joint ventures. He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and HEC Paris.
The new appointments reflect Technip Energies’ commitment to innovation, growth, and sustainability in the energy sector. The company’s CEO, Arnaud Pieton, said: “I am delighted to welcome Naïla, Marco and Loïc to the Executive Committee. They bring a wealth of experience, expertise and leadership to our company and will play a key role in delivering our strategy and vision for the energy transition.”
