OSLO, NORWAY: IWS Fleet AS and Havfram Wind AS have agreed to cooperate on the technical management of two offshore wind turbine installation vessels (WTIVs) that can handle the largest turbines and foundations in the market.
The WTIVs are expected to be delivered in 2025 and will operate in water depths of up to 70 meters. The two companies will jointly own Havfram Fleet Management AS (HFM), which will be responsible for the technical management of the WTIVs.
IWS will also provide management and technical resources to HFM, as well as continue to manage two LNG carriers and six commissioning service operation vessels (CSOVs). The partnership aims to leverage the synergies and expertise of both parties in the offshore wind sector.
