MacStadium launches Orka 3.0, a Kubernetes-native platform for Mac DevOps

ATLANTA: MacStadium, a cloud services provider that specializes in macOS workloads, has announced the launch of Orka 3.0, the latest version of its proprietary technology, Orka Platform. Orka (Orchestration with Kubernetes on Apple) is the only virtualization layer for Mac build infrastructure that uses Open Container Initiative (OCI) and Kubernetes technologies.

Orka 3.0 aims to improve the developer experience by enabling scalable, secure, and automated Mac DevOps in a cloud environment. Orka 3.0 also features a new command-line interface, an updated API, and thin-provisioned OCI images to save time and resources.

Orka 3.0 also supports single sign-on (SSO) capability to ensure secure user access to the cloud environments. Orka 3.0 is compatible with popular tools and platforms, such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and Xcode.

Orka 3.0 is now available for MacStadium customers. MacStadium will also showcase Orka 3.0 at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America from Nov. 7-9.
