Anglesey Mining CEO resigns, joins Silver Mines Limited

LONDON, UK: Jo Battershill, the Chief Executive Officer of Anglesey Mining plc, a UK minerals development company, has announced his resignation effective from 1st January 2024. He will join Silver Mines Limited, an Australian silver development company, as its Managing Director. Battershill will remain as a Non-Executive Director of Anglesey Mining after his departure.

Anglesey Mining is currently working on several projects, including drilling and metallurgical test work at Parys Mountain in North Wales, and environmental studies at Grängesberg iron ore project in Sweden. The company will start looking for a new CEO soon and expects a smooth transition with Battershill’s assistance.

Anglesey Mining is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange and owns 100% of Parys Mountain, a copper-zinc-lead-silver-gold deposit with a reported resource of over 16 million tonnes. The company also holds an almost 50% interest in Grängesberg Iron project and 12% of Labrador Iron Mines Holdings Limited.
