Atwell, LLC, a national consulting, engineering, and construction services firm, has announced the acquisition of Summit Engineering Group, a civil engineering and land surveying firm headquartered in Heber City, Utah. This is Atwell’s first permanent office in Utah and its eighth acquisition over the past year. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Summit was founded in 2001 by Brian Balls and Michael Johnston and offers a wide variety of professional and technical services throughout Utah. Summit’s employees have extensive construction experience and use advanced design software and data reporting methods.
Atwell’s Vice President of Real Estate and Land Development Jeff French said he was looking forward to working with the Summit team and leveraging their decades of experience within their community. Summit’s Principal Brian Balls said he was thrilled to partner with Atwell and that both companies had strong reputations for quality, value, and service.
