Biologics Consulting Group, Inc., a leading regulatory and product development consulting firm for biologics, drugs, and medical devices, has announced the appointment of Dr. Margaret K. Vernon as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 18, 2023.
Dr. Vernon joins Biologics Consulting Group after 17 years with Evidera, a business unit of PPD, where she served as senior vice president and general manager for the Evidera Advisory Business Unit. She has extensive experience and expertise in patient-reported outcome instrument development and validation, regulatory strategy, and clinical trial implementation and analysis.
Dr. Vernon will succeed Dr. Norman W. Baylor, who will remain as Chair of the Biologics Consulting Board of Directors. Dr. Baylor praised Dr. Vernon as a dynamic, creative, and results-driven leader with a clear strategic vision for the firm.
Dr. Vernon said that she was pleased to join Biologics Consulting Group and looked forward to leading the team as they help clients to advance the future of vaccines, biologics, drugs, and medical devices.
Dr. Vernon was selected after an extensive national search conducted by the Biologic Consulting Board of Directors with the professional recruitment services of Odgers Berndtson.
