LONDON, UK: Bunzl plc, the specialist international distribution and services Group, has announced two acquisitions in Europe, expanding its presence in Poland and the Benelux region.

The Group has signed an agreement to acquire Safety First, one of the largest distributors of Personal Protective Equipment products in Poland, and also acquired EcoTools.nl, a Netherlands based specialist online distributor of tool accessories and industrial consumables.

These acquisitions will increase the Group’s revenue by c.£39 million and enhance its digital capabilities.

Frank van Zanten, Chief Executive Officer of Bunzl, said that the acquisition momentum has been strong this year and that the Group has more than £350 million to spend on further acquisitions.
