MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA: Bubs Australia Limited, a leading producer of infant formula and organic baby food, has announced the appointment of Reg Weine as its new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
Mr Weine is a board member and a former executive of SPC Ardmona, Bulla Dairy Foods, and Blackmores Limited. He has over 25 years of experience in the FMCG and agri-food sectors, and over 15 years in international markets and trade.
He will lead Bubs’ strategy to expand its presence in Australia, USA, China, and other international markets. Mr Weine said that he will pursue a 5-point plan to arrest the decline in shareholder value and get Bubs back on its feet.
Bubs Australia Chair Katrina Rathie thanked the interim CEO, Richard Paine, for his leadership and expressed optimism about the future of the company under Mr Weine’s leadership.
