LONDON, UK: Sanctuary Housing Association, one of the UK’s leading social housing providers, has announced that it has entered into discussions with Johnnie Johnson Housing Trust Limited, a not-for-profit housing association that specialises in retirement and supported housing, to form a business combination.
The potential business combination would create a larger and stronger organisation that would be able to deliver more affordable homes and services to residents across the country. The two organisations share a common vision and values of providing quality homes and supporting communities.
The discussions are at an early stage and any agreement of a business combination will be subject to detailed due diligence and the approval of the boards of both organisations. The two organisations will also consult with their stakeholders, including residents, staff, regulators and local authorities, before making any final decision.
