SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Comms Group, a leading provider of communication solutions, and Vodafone Business, a global telecommunications company, have announced an extension of their existing supply agreement. The expanded partnership aims to deliver enhanced services for Microsoft Teams calling, leveraging state-of-the-art technology and automation tools.
Under the new agreement, Comms Group will offer zero-touch, self-service provisioning, orchestration, and automation of Microsoft Teams calling through its cutting-edge SBCaaS (Session Border Controller-as-a-Service) platform. This will enable Vodafone Business to streamline its operations and provide seamless communication experiences for its customers.
Furthermore, Vodafone Business will continue to access tailored Teams Direct Routing deployment services and related offerings provided by Comms Group. The extended partnership will also see Comms Group enabling the Operator Connect service for Vodafone, further strengthening their collaboration.
The agreement between the two companies is set for a minimum commitment period of five years. Afterward, the service will be provided on a month-to-month basis, allowing either party to terminate the agreement with a minimum notice period of 12 months. Vodafone Business has committed to a minimum monthly charge of -A$30k per month, starting from October 1, 2023.
Vodafone Business anticipates significant growth opportunities throughout the extended contract period, projecting the addition of new users that will generate substantial revenue streams for Comms Group. As these opportunities materialize, Comms Group has pledged to provide updates to the market.
The initial deployment of the enhanced services has already commenced and is expected to be completed by June 2023. Following the deployment, user onboarding will begin immediately, ensuring a seamless transition for Vodafone Business customers.
With this strategic partnership, Comms Group and Vodafone Business aim to provide an advanced and efficient communication ecosystem, empowering businesses with state-of-the-art tools and services to enhance their collaboration and productivity through Microsoft Teams calling.
