Chariot Limited, the Africa focused transitional energy company, has announced its partnership agreement with Vivo Energy with the aim of creating a midstream joint venture to oversee the distribution of natural gas to industrial customers in Morocco.
The partnership will establish a jointly owned special purpose vehicle to purchase, transport and distribute natural gas to end-users. A long-term gas sales agreement for a portion of the future gas production from the Anchois development project is also part of the agreement.
Chariot CEO, Adonis Pouroulis, stated that the partnership is delighted to work with Vivo Energy to develop and deliver a long-term supply of natural gas across the rapidly growing industrial sector in the country. The partnership will enable the distribution of a cleaner and more competitive source of energy for industrial customers.
