Motorola is reportedly preparing to release two new foldable phones in 2023, one of which could directly compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Leaks shared via MySmartPrice and OnLeaks suggest that the upcoming Razr models will be named Razr+ and Razr Lite. The new Razr is said to have a clamshell-style folding mechanism with thin bezels and a hole-punch cutout in the top center of the main display.
The phone also has a small cover display designed for limited tasks, such as displaying notifications. To the left of the cover display, there is a dual-camera assembly.
While there are no details on specifications yet, the design is based on low-quality, real-life pictures of a prototype in the testing phase. It is hoped that the final version will improve upon the 2022 Razr, which was impressive but had disappointing battery life.
The upcoming Razr models have generated interest, and it remains to be seen if they will live up to expectations.
