PARIS, FRANCE: Reworld Media has signed a purchase offer for the acquisition of the Grazia and Icon brands worldwide, including their media activities in Italy (print and digital). Grazia is currently present in 21 countries.
Reworld Media would thus become the owner of one of the leading women’s high-end media brands on a global scale. Today, it is mainly operated with licensees around the world: United Kingdom, United States, China, Germany, Latin America, Australia, Spain and India. Also included in this offer, the Icon brand is a fashion and lifestyle reference in the men’s universe. The takeover scope generated revenue of around €18 million in 2021.
The acquisition price would be around €6.5 million (including €1 million in available cash) and a possible additional price of €2 million depending on 2023 performance.
This external growth operation would mark a major step for Reworld Media in its international growth strategy.
Building on the success of the development of its brands in France within digital ecosystems, the Group intends to apply this recognized know-how internationally for the benefit of these two brands.
Following the example of its current presence in 11 countries through its technological activities (Tradedoubler), the Group continues to apply its development strategy in the world through its media expertise.
