MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA: Crown Resorts Limited announced today the appointment of Simon McGrath AM as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Crown Sydney and Group Head of Hospitality.
Mr McGrath is expected to commence employment with Crown Sydney on 1 February 2022 and will report to Mr Steve McCann, the Crown Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
Mr McGrath has most recently been the CEO for Accor Pacific, responsible for over 397 hotels, 62,276 guest rooms and 18,000 employees.
He has worked in the tourism and hospitality sector for three decades, including in Malaysia, Thailand and throughout the Pacific region in major resorts and hotels.
Mr McGrath has previously held senior executive positions in hotel groups including Southern Pacific Hotels (SPHC) and Rydges Hotel Groups before joining Accor.

Crown Sydney is located at One Barangaroo Avenue on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour and is Sydney’s first six-star hotel and landmark building with views of some of Australia’s most celebrated icons in the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.
