Kevin Bolt resigns as bpha's CEO

LONDON, UK: Kevin Bolt has announced that he will be retiring as Chief Executive of bpha in May 2022, after eight years at the helm of the Bedford-based housing association.

He will continue as bpha’s CEO until his departure.

Through Kevin’s leadership, bpha has remained committed to its core social purpose and has been successful in improving customer experience, providing over 3,000 new much-needed homes, investing in communities and ensuring the organisation has a strong financial footing.

Kevin said: “It has been my privilege and pleasure to lead bpha for eight years. With my 65th birthday approaching, it’s time for me to hand over to someone new. I do so with bpha in excellent shape, with an experienced Board, a strong leadership team and dedicated and talented colleagues. At a time of challenge and opportunity for the sector, I believe bpha is well placed to get even stronger, continuing to provide more homes and making sure we continue to help people “love where they live”.”

Paul Leinster, bpha’s Chair said: “I would like to thank Kevin personally for his strong leadership and achievements in helping bpha to improve in so many aspects over the years, not least in his dedication to making a positive difference for our customers. I know I speak for everyone at bpha in thanking him for his considerable contribution. The Board and I look forward to continuing our excellent working relationship with Kevin over the next eight months. We are grateful that Kevin has provided us with ample time to appoint a successor and we will ensure purposeful and successful leadership continues at bpha.”
