SUBIACO: Vection Technologies Ltd, a multinational software company that creates 3D, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) solutions, has commenced early stage collaboration with the Motorvehicle University of Emilia Romagna (MUNER).
MUNER represents automotive household names including Automobili Lamborghini, Dallara, Ducati, Ferrari, Haas F1 Team, HPE COXA, Magneti Marelli, Maserati, Pagani, Scuderia Toro Rosso.
The Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna (MUNER) is an association that synergistically connects universities that are synonymous with advanced training with the automakers that represent the excellence of Made in Italy in the world: Automobili Lamborghini, Dallara, Ducati, Ferrari, Haas F1 Team, HPE Coxa, Magneti Marelli, Maserati e Toro Rosso.
The attendance of MUNER at the Media Event marked the commencement of an early stage collaboration with Vection which the Company anticipates will be formalised with the admission of Vection into MUNER’s association and the endorsement of FrameS as a software with widespread applicability to the automotive and engineering sector for collaborative design, prototyping and development.
MUNER represents a potentially major opportunity for the Company to integrate its proprietary VR design platform FrameS as a key technology directly into MUNER’s engineering courses leading to MUNER’s associated automotive companies who hire MUNER graduates.
Work on integrating FrameS into the MUNER curriculum has now commenced with a view to FrameS being used in the courses next year.
Professor Francesco Leali from MUNER commented: “The students that have to learn about new technologies are the same people who will go into companies and drive them into the future. The broad adoption of technologies and tools such as VR & AR, vertical analysis and work planning tools is the direction that needs to be followed. Everything is happening at a very fast pace. MUNER is establishing strategic partnerships with those who have the vision to plan and attract talent.”
The Media Event, held on 12 December 2019 (AWST), marked the first strategic public presentation hosted by the Company in the heart of the Motor Valley, a region where some of the world’s most renowned sports cars and motorbikes are manufactured, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, Ducati and Dallara.
