Clipper Logistics commences e-commerce operations for Amara Living

LONDON: Clipper Logistics plc, a leading provider of value-added logistics solutions, e-fulfilment and returns management services to the retail sector, announced that operations have commenced on a new five-year contract with Amara Living Limited, the fast-growing online retailer operating in the home, living and lifestyle sectors.

The new operation is based in Clipper’s existing facility in Northampton, where some of the Company’s operations for John Lewis Partnership and other brands are already located. Clipper will be providing e-fulfilment and returns management services for Amara Living, with the five year contract functioning on an open book basis. The initial space requirement for the contract will be 140,000 sq ft, increasing to nearly 400,000 sq ft by the fifth year of the initial contract term.
