SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Locate2u, a software platform that helps delivery and service businesses improve their efficiency and customer experience, has announced that it has signed two major contracts with Western Australia Return Recycle Renew Limited (WARRRL) and Couriers By Demand Pty Ltd (CBD).
The contracts will provide Locate2u with combined incremental annual revenue of about $260,000, representing approximately 5.5% of its FY22 consolidated revenue.
WARRRL is the not-for-profit organisation that runs the container deposit scheme in Western Australia, which aims to reduce litter and increase recycling of beverage containers. WARRRL has appointed Locate2u to automate and optimise one of its planned service offerings, which involves collecting and transporting containers from various locations.
CBD is a Sydney-based business that offers same day courier, refrigerated transport, interstate and international delivery services. CBD has over 350 delivery drivers across Australia and a global network to deliver parcels internationally. CBD is an existing customer of Talcasoft, a software company that was acquired by Locate2u’s parent company Zoom2u in July 2023.
CBD is choosing to move to Locate2u to make its operations more efficient, to provide better visibility of customer bookings and to further improve the delivery experience for its customers.
Steve Orenstein, Zoom2u Founder and CEO, said that he was delighted to announce the agreements and that they validated Locate2u’s functionality and scalability for use by large enterprises. He also said that the agreements vindicated the strategic realignment to focus on the Locate2u product, where he saw significant opportunities for growth.
Locate2u is a software platform that enables delivery and service businesses to manage bookings, track assets, optimize routes, notify customers, and provide proof of delivery. Locate2u also allows businesses to switch between their own fleet and global carriers for their delivery needs.
