Action Manufacturing to purchase Transcold New Zealand for $5.4 million

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Action Manufacturing has announced that it will acquire Transcold New Zealand for a sum of $5.4 million, according to the advice of thl, a global tourism operator listed on the NZX and ASX.

The deal is expected to be completed by the end of May 2023, subject to landlord and contract counterparty consents.

Transcold is a leader in the transport refrigeration industry in New Zealand and provides quality refrigeration and tail lift solutions for truck and trailer vehicles from its locations in Auckland and Christchurch.

Chris Devoy, the CEO of Action Manufacturing, stated that the acquisition of Transcold complements Action’s other brands, Fairfax and Freighter, allowing it to offer customers a complete solution from manufacturing to refrigeration and servicing.

Thl is the world’s largest commercial RV rental operator and operates various tourism, travel technology, and commercial vehicle manufacturing businesses in New Zealand, Australia, North America, and Europe.
