WELLINGTON: VITAL Limited, a telecommunications services provider, announced a special partnering relationship with Ventia, one of the largest essential services providers in New Zealand and Australia.
Both Vital and Ventia provide essential communication services to the market, and in some instances, already work together for the benefit of clients and the community. This partnering will further benefit anyone reliant on critical communication technology and infrastructure – across both public and private networks.
Ventia provides field services to Vital and is currently supporting Vital in its response to the Public Safety Network RFP.
This relationship aims to achieve sustainable growth through leveraging both parties’ expertise and capabilities to provide greater customer outcomes, with an initial focus on the New Zealand utilities sector.
Vital’s Chief Executive Andrew Miller said: “Both organisations in many instances are delivering solutions to the same customers, which if integrated would bring about greater benefits. This relationship will assist both companies in pursuing targeted market sectors.”
Ventia’s New Zealand Country Manager Jim Tocher said: “We believe together we have something very special to offer the owners and operators of critical communication networks – particularly those networks that support the men and women who work across our public utilities.
“We are combining Ventia’s scale and experience in the build and maintenance of critical telecommunications infrastructure with Vital’s specialised expertise in critical network operations and its New Zealand-wide network footprint. Together, we offer the services necessary for keeping people connected when it really counts.”
