Oakum Cannabis plants first crops using RotoGro Systems

MELBOURNE: Oakum Cannabis Corporation has planted its first cannabis crops using RotoGro’s Rotational Hydroponic Garden Systems.

Oakum was recently awarded its Health Canada cultivation license and commenced planting its first cannabis crops using the RotoGro Systems. Oakum is extremely excited to begin its commercial operations with the RotoGro Systems to achieve industry-leading results in both quality and yield.

RotoGro looks forward to supporting Oakum throughout the cannabis cultivation process at Oakum’s state-of-the-art facility located in British Columbia, Canada, and is confident that Oakum will continuously achieve industry-leading results on a consistent basis.

Oakum’s lead grower and co-founder, Anthony Charles, states, “We are excited to begin our commercial cultivation operations utilizing the RotoGro Systems. We have been using the RotoGro Systems for over 12 months on a small scale for research and testing prior to receiving our Health Canada approved Cultivation License.

The planting of our first crops on a commercial scale is very exciting as we look to match and exceed yields in excess of 7 lbs. of dry flower per rotational garden per 60-day growth cycle that we have consistently achieved to date. We are confident, phase one of our commercial operations utilising 48 RotoGro rotational gardens will exceed our expectations –that the RotoGro Systems will be high yielding and produce a superior cannabis product, at the lowest cost per gram.”

Chief Executive Officer of RotoGro, Adam Clode, states, “We are excited to continue our working relationship with Oakum as they plant their first crops using the RotoGro Garden, Fertigation and iGrow Software Systems. We are confident that the product quality and yields will be as predicted and exceed Oakum’s expectations.

This will only reinforce the superiority of our patented and proprietary technology. Oakum is an exciting company, one with the resources in place to truly be an industry-leading operation. Their knowledge, coupled with the RotoGro systems and expertise, will certainly lead the way in lawful cannabis cultivation in Canada. We will continue to support Oakum as they commence their commercial cannabis operations at their facility in British Columbia, Canada using the RotoGro Systems and look forward to their phase two expansion plans in CY2020.”
