SYDNEY: Jayride Group Limited (ASX: JAY), a global ground transportation technology company, announced the launch of a new B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform designed to streamline operations for transport providers. The platform aims to address key industry challenges, including delayed payments, manual processes and fragmented systems.
The SaaS offering, branded as “Powered by Jayride,” integrates payment processing, fleet management and real-time analytics. It also provides API connectivity to Jayride’s existing aggregator marketplace, allowing operators to access global demand while maintaining control over their operations.
“Solving payment processing in ground transportation could be a core pillar of our success,” said Jayride CEO Randy Prado. The platform includes automated payment remittance to providers and drivers, along with future AI-powered tools like predictive demand analytics and a travel concierge service, slated for release later this year.
The rollout will begin with strategic partners in Thailand, the U.S., Malaysia and the Philippines, leveraging Jayride’s existing relationships. The company plans to form a dedicated SaaS sales team to scale adoption.
Jayride licensed the underlying technology from Fairyde Technologies Inc., a U.S.-based firm founded by Jayride’s Chief Marketing Officer, Patrick Campbell. CEO Randy Prado previously consulted for Fairyde but has no current financial ties. The licensing agreement includes upfront and volume-based fees but avoids direct competition with Jayride’s partners.
While transitioning providers to the SaaS model, Jayride will continue its aggregator services. The shift is expected to improve margins, reduce operational costs and create recurring revenue.
