The OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) has sharply cut its U.S. economic growth forecast, citing concerns over tariffs and policy uncertainty under the Trump administration.
According to reports, the group now expects the U.S. economy to expand by just 1.6% this year and 1.5% in 2026, down from previous estimates.
These trade tensions and unclear policies are also hurting the global economic outlook, leading to slower projected growth worldwide.
