TORONTO: Trillium Pictures has entered into an agreement to be acquired by consumer products company QED Connect (QEDN). The agreement gives TRILLIUM access to the capital markets for expanding and financing its business interests.
It also means that TRILLIUM will be exploring entertainment and studio development opportunities in South America, where QEDs main assets are located. Updates will be ongoing.
Trillium also has an excepted offer to purchase property in North Bay Ontario, for the purpose of constructing its first studio location. North Bay is a film production center, with no professional studio facility, Trillium will be filling that need and service.
TRILLIUM is in the business of studio development and operations, production, acquisition, and distribution. The company’s plan involves the construction of a state-of-the-art studio facility in North Bay Ontario, which will include one of Ontarios most extensive facilities. The studio will be the centre piece of the creative community in North Bay Ontario.
